Coastal

Here are a selection of images of several coastal properties for sale on the Mornington and Bellarine Pennisula's - thought these captured the Victorian coastal feel, great gardens and wonderful spots lazing by the pool. All we need is the weather to improve and be consistant.

Fresh Flowers

I love this time of year, lots of fresh flowers from the garden that can be brought inside. Finally we are getting so warmer days as well.....

I love these mini fuschia's that are growing beside my very questionable outside loo at the back of the shop. Had to pick them so I can enjoy them.

These are a collection of beautiful roses from my garden at home, love all the colours combined.

Magnolia

I got this flyer in the mail for garden maintenance and loved the image. Prompted me to take a couple of photo's of my beautiful magnolia tree at the front of my house. Its over 100 years old and just coming into flower, providing the possums keep away.

Garden Inspiration

I came across images of this beautiful garden at a property called Ercildoune, near Ballarat in Victoria and thought of my mum. She is a keen gardener and has been developing her garden in the country (Gippsland) for several years.

Ercildoune’s centrepiece is a two-storey granite mansion surrounded by six hectares of formal grounds studded with grand trees that provide a breathtaking backdrop to the gardens, which include sweeping lawns, huge garden beds, wooded dells, fruit trees and an inner walled garden that was built in the 1870s and filled with roses.

I love the house (who wouldn't) and the garden is stunning. See the full story about Ercildourne's restoration at: http://www.houseandgarden.com.au/true-romance-victorian-goldfields-garden.htm
