Last night I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Osbourne - co-founder of Osborne & Little and seeing him present the lastest O&L Collection. The Collection comprises of four stylish ranges called Xanadu, Grand Tour, Athlone and Karavansara.
- Xanadu includes three designs featuring velvet appliqué silhouetted on linen grounds. These include a trellis of interlacing braids, lilies with contrasting embroidery detail and swirling arabesque leaves.
- Athlone is a collection of checks, gingham, tartan and stripes in a variety of qualities ranging from warm wool upholsteries to cool linen and cotton curtain fabrics.
- Karavansara is made up of an exotic and elegant collection of silks and embroideries evocative of trade routes. It features large-scale decorative paisley motifs embellished with subtle flashes of metallic yarn on linen grounds, geometric silk jacquards and a grand scrolling leaf damask.
