Latest Designers Guild
Got to see the latest Designers Guild collection last week. Here are some of the advertising photo's of the Amrapali Collection - inspired by a journey through India with exotic gardens, birds of paradise and Jacaranda trees. Shades of aqua, blue, turquoise mixed with splashes of magenta, chartreuse and cobalt are all represented in the colour palette.

Lewis and Wood
I love finding new fabric options. I was just introducted to Lewis and Wood - an small UK company producing fabrics and Wallpapers, largely manufactured in Britain.
The commitment to produce original products starts in their screen printing studio, where creative director, Magdalen Jebb collaborates with a variety of freelance designers, from different disciplines to encourage an original approach. They then work with weavers, dyers, printers and finishers to try new techniques. This isn’t always easy, but it does make the result a lot more interesting.
These three images caught my eye - love the colour combinations. More here.

Absolutely Beautiful Things
The amazing Anna Spiro from Black and Spiro in Brisbane, has just released an amazing new online concept store called "Anna Spiro's Absolutely Beautiful Things" . The concept is that each season they will showcase a new vignette of items, custom made, vintage and things that sell at Black and Spiro. Anna's execution of the site is wonderful and unique and well worth a look.

American Design
Here is some work by American Designer - Eileen Kathryn Boyd, recently featured in the Hampton's Designer Showcase. Eileen's mantra is that "Color has the ability to change someone’s entire world, freeing them from all that is dull" and I have to agree. Eileen's use of colour in these interiors is subtle and harmonious. Its always good to see whats going on in the world.
