One of my wonderful clients emailed me this photo of the feature wallpaper wall, that was hung on Friday. We selected this gorgeous Harlequin wallpaper, toning in with the wall colour and giving a metalic lustre to the room. Here are some other images of this design.

Here are a couple of photo's of mone of my clients club sofa - it had great sentimental value,so we recovered and rebuilt it for the family room. Covered in a vibrant stripe, it looks amazing....and ready for another generation of use.

Classic Kitchen

Love this soft duck egg kitchen in varying shades, classic and elegant. Love the geometric tiles and marble bench tops and large industrial pendants over the island. The only thing I'm not sure about are the seats under the counter they look like they would be low under the bench top and the width looks to bulky to me. Otherwise, I would happily have this in my house.

Here's a peek at my latest window. Gorgeous camillia's from a lovely local gentleman, picked from his garden with some Chaing Mai Dragon and cosy woolen throws to keep away the cold.

Mokum - East

Here is a sneak peak at Mokum's latest Studio collection called East, inspired by Asian art and design. Love the velvet design based on waterlillies. Can not wait to see the collection in the flesh, once it is released.

Cute Chair

Came across this image of a cute chair on a US online shop......which unfortuntely does not ship to Australia. Love the bird print on thefront and the stripe on the back, with the duckegg frame.

The Block - rooms

I have been recording The Block and flicking through the episodes each night and I must say that last nights rooms left me underwhelmed......guess the judges were too based on the scores.
It good to have the show set in Melbourne and see them in stores you know well.

Didn't mind this room but wasn't sure about the silk curtains - thought a natural linen may look better with the industrial concept.

I liked this room the best- the colours and styling were good and I have a thing for grey walls at the moment.... love the Fenton and Fenton cushions and the framed newpaper prints found under the flooring while this team was renovating.

Did not get this room at all......and I couldn't find a better image. This is the first room you see as you enter the house and its just cream and brown and very underwhelming.

This room was well finished but over styled.....whats with all the pillows / cushions and the two throw rugs?

Look forward to seeing the next reveal.

Fine Dining

Flicking through on-line magazines and came across these dining rooms.

Love the freshness of the white and turquoise with the warmth of the dark wood tones.

Love these upholstered button backed dining chairs - creating an elegant dining space and I love those light fittings....

This one is more casual and I love the large bench seat on the one side and the mix and match chairs - helps the room to appear relaxed and comfortable

Red White and Blue

Thought this red, white and blue interior by Tobi Farley, was a fitting tribute for the Forth of July.

Lack of posts

Sorry for my lack of posts recently. I have a couple of large projects on the go at the moment and they have been taking up a far bit of time..... I will try to find time to blog more......I promise.
