Eaglemont - Cabinetry Install begins

 

The cabinetry installation has started on my Eaglemont project. Front the raw units in the factory a couple of weeks ago, the cabinets have been off for 2-pac painting and the family room was full this morning when I popped onsite.

 

Later in the day, the installation was underway and progressing well. Client is very happy and its looking great. Templates of the stone tops are next and bulkheads over the units to finish off, before the cornice is installed.

A splash of green

I can across this image of what could have been a simple white classic styled kitchen - add a splash vibrant green and its taken to another level.

White on White

Sometimes the simple things work - Love this kitchen elevation - white cabinets, soft white / grey marble and splashes of hot colour.

Working on the design of a classic style kitchen and these images all caught my for different reasons.

Love the colour of the cabinetry - soft grey

Its the gorgeous soft celedon green tiles that I like in this image and the dark chocolate floors.

Clients like the idea of subway tiles and this one captures that aspect.

Classic white cabinetry teamed with a charcoal countertop. The coloured ceiling is also interesting in this kitchen. Always lots to inspire and consider....

Classic Kitchen

Love this soft duck egg kitchen in varying shades, classic and elegant. Love the geometric tiles and marble bench tops and large industrial pendants over the island. The only thing I'm not sure about are the seats under the counter they look like they would be low under the bench top and the width looks to bulky to me. Otherwise, I would happily have this in my house.

Love this kitchen by Canadian designer, Sarah Richardson.The colour scheme for the room was inspired by the glass tile back splash with white paint on the cabinets and Robin's Egg on the island. Lino floor tiles reinforce the colour palette of soft blue, pale yellow and silver.

Love the tiling detail - glass and stone mosaic with a horizonal band to add interest.

Here are some images of a kitchen I recently worked on.
My chaming clients had a cherry kitchen which was dating the interior. The bones were good so all it needed was a makeover. Doors were removed and taken away for spraying and fixed elements were done onsite.

Kitchen Makeover

I hope you enjoyed the long weekend (those in Australia anyway)..... I spent the weekend working on a makeover of my sister-in-laws kitchen.....

Banishing the old pine cabinets, we sanded, undercoated and sprayed the top coats over the past two weekends. Lots of hardwork but it is looking great. I will get some photo's during the week and post them.....forgot to take the before images which was rather silly.

Anyway, I will pay hommage to the kitchen, with some inspiration images I had on file, all with a touch of white.
