Latest Cole and Sons Wallpaper, just released.

The Collection is called The Historical Palaces Collection and inspiration is drawn five Royal Residences - Tower of London, Hampton Court, Banqueting House, Kensington and Kew palaces.

Its a stylish and contemporary take on classic designs - inspired by interior and exterior elements such as  wood panelling, ironwork gates and the maze at Hampton Court.

Schumacher Wallpapers - Martyn Lawrence Bullard

Martyn Lawrence Bullard, of Million Dollar Decorators fame, is releasing a new collection  of wallpapers as a desginer collaboration.

Building on the success of his fabric collection, the internationally celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard introduces a collection of wallcoverings exclusively for Schumacher.

Inspired by his travels the collection bursting with bold, saturated colors and gorgeous, artful patterns. Prints in the collection evoke the timeless Ottoman motifs that Martyn witnessed in the graphic screens, painted panels and embellished tile decorating the majestic palaces of Turkey, Morocco and India.

Fornasetti Wallpaper Collection

Cole & Sons have just released another Fornasetti wallpaper collection. Fornasetti II takes a bold step in wallpaper design, transforming eclectic and whimsical drawings into a truly stunning wallpapers.


Eccentric motifs of fantastical flying machines, architectural details, playful monkeys, keys and owls all evoke a theatrical and magical spaces.

Porters - Designer wallpaper

Greg Natale is the latest designer  to collaborate with Porter Paints on a range of wallpapers.

The designs are in his signature bold style - Chervon, Diagonal, Horizontal and Pinstripe make up the collection in a usable palette.

Love these new wallpapers by Hooked on Walls. I think my favorite is the Cashmere Lion.....
Great neutrals and very versatile.

Andrew Martin Wallpaper

Here is a peak at some Andrew Martin wallpaper we recently had installed for a client along with some amazing shag carpet. Looking great, I love the wallpaper against the recylced barn door.

Wild Wallpaper

The lastest Cole & Sons wallpaper collection is called Geometric and how great is this advertising image, just love the use of colour and the contrast of the cabinet against raw old walls.

This is a collection of contemporary designs influenced by intricate patterns and vivid graphics. The modern collection is a unique juxtaposition coming from a factory that still uses traditional methods. See the full collection here.

Wallpapered Ceilings

I was recently watching a Canadian TV show and they wallpapered the ceiling and it looked amazing. Here are a couple of examples....

• bright striped ceilings in the nursery add a pop of colour


• stricking floral wallpaper on walls and ceiling to create a WOW dining room in contrast to the soft sheers over the large windows


• traditional classic toile used on the walls and ceiling in the attic style bedroom


• a dramatic ceiling in a dressing room.

I have to give this a go at some point, just need the right client and to butter up my wallpaper hanger....

Another happy customer

One of my wonderful clients emailed me this photo of the feature wallpaper wall, that was hung on Friday. We selected this gorgeous Harlequin wallpaper, toning in with the wall colour and giving a metalic lustre to the room. Here are some other images of this design.

Wonderful wallpaper featuring birds - happens to be one of my favorite designs for wallpaper.

Here are some great images. i particulary love the one below - classic wallpaper in a very contemporary interior .....love it.

Wallpapered Furniture

I came across these wallpapered pieces of furniture and I love them. Would love to give it a try myself on a small piece....something to do over the Christmas break.
These peices are created by Briony Porter, a UK designer. Transforming discarded furniture, the one-of-a-kind pieces make an environmentally-conscious statement too. So any coffee table or bookcase can be revitalized and reformed through Byronie Porter's method of applique.

Asuka Wallpaper

Asuka Wallpaper is a deign by Osborne and Little several years ago, but the design keeps popping up, especially in the wallpaper. I mst admit, I love the design and here are some images I had saved.

The fabric is also amazing. An oldie but a goodie, as they say.

I love Chinoiserie designs and there are none better in wallpapers, than the gorgeous, expensive de Gournay hand paints wallpapers. de Gournay has traditionally specialised in 18th century Chinoiserie and 19th century French designs.
