Romo - Lastest Collections

Last evening, I was very lucky to have Jo, Romo's UK export manager present the latest Romo collection to me. As a fabric obsessive, its always great to talk about design inspiration and production. Jo also looks after most worldwide markets, so its great to get her insight on trends overseas.

Its a great collection, with lots of plains and stable curtaining fabrics. Romo have great product and they have really paid attention to their prices and made this a very affordable collection.

Sibella Court - Mr Wong

Here are a couple of images of the interior of new Sydney yum-cha restaurant, Mr Wong. The interiors evoke 1930s Shanghai - with period-style furniture, jazzy music and the gorgeous styling details including calligraphy, Chinese paintings, Asian furnishings and clusters of blue-and-white china on the walls, designed in part, by Sibella Court. Its a must see on my next visit to Sydney.

On the topic of Sibella, her next book called Bowerbird is due for release next month and if its anything like her other books, it will find its way into my bookshelves.

Entry Nook

Love this use of the space under the stairs. Great built in seating, love the nailhead detail. I would certainly curl up here with a book.

Kids Bedrooms - inspiration

Came across this saved image on my computer. Love the fun cushions, striped wallpaper and its all topped off with the zebra heads on the wall.

Soliel Bleu

Love these two fabrics from the lastest Soliel Bleu collection. Great use of colour and the fabrics released by this company just keep getting better....
