If for nothing else, I watch the Oscars for the fashion....and mabybe Colin Firth. Here are some great gowns....

Andrew Martin Fabrics

Got to see the latest Andrew Martin collection, Inventor and Navigator. Back to the Andrew Martin collections of old, with some quirky designs mixed with great paisleys, florals and stripes.

Great Kilim stripes, with paisley cushions and wallpaper showing a map of the UK.

Window Display

Here are some images of my latest window display. About to change it over but thought it was worth taking some photo's.

Beautiful Etamine and Lorca cushions on an Alpaca velvet chair.

These are a couple of pictures I made with Nina Campbell wallpaper - making the butterflies look like they are flying away. Great way to make inexpensive art for the walls.

Another year older....

It was a big birthday for me, this week and as my sister-in-law said, 40 is the new 30.......



I enjoyed a lovely dinner with my husband and caught up with my family on the weekend. Boy was I spoilt.....

Peter Osborne - O&L

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting Peter Osbourne - co-founder of Osborne & Little and seeing him present the lastest O&L Collection. The Collection comprises of four stylish ranges called Xanadu, Grand Tour, Athlone and Karavansara.

• Xanadu includes three designs featuring velvet appliqué silhouetted on linen grounds. These include a trellis of interlacing braids, lilies with contrasting embroidery detail and swirling arabesque leaves.


• Athlone is a collection of checks, gingham, tartan and stripes in a variety of qualities ranging from warm wool upholsteries to cool linen and cotton curtain fabrics.


• Karavansara is made up of an exotic and elegant collection of silks and embroideries evocative of trade routes. It features large-scale decorative paisley motifs embellished with subtle flashes of metallic yarn on linen grounds, geometric silk jacquards and a grand scrolling leaf damask.

New Collection - Baker / Mulberry

I just saw a wonderful collection of fabrics from the Baker / Mulberry Stable.

Below are some images of the Mulberry Home - Heirloom collection. Some are up there in price, but amazing quality and technique - for that special place in the home.

The GP & J Baker collection called Holcott was equally as good, with stunning embroidered linens and silks, based on classic archival documents as Baker does so well.

Finally there was the Baker Lifestyle collection, with head designer Ann Grafton's strong influence. Ann origanlly designed for Colefax & Fowler and Jane Churchill and you can see her influence in this collection of fabrics and wallpaper - at an affordable pricepoint.

Before and after

Here are a couple of images of an Entrance Hall I'm assisting a client with. Its still a work in progress but we have changed the lighting, wallpapered the walls and are just finalising the finishing touches: rug, sidetable and decorative cushion for the gold Llyod Loom Chair.

New Textile Collection

Had the chance to see a new fabric collection last week. It was a busy week and this was my first chance to blog about the collection - Equipo from Spain. They have some great prints and weaves at good price points. Here are a couple that I love:
