Serena and Lily

Serena and Lily is a great US store, with wonderful products available. Here are a couple of images from their website: Serena & Lily.

Serena was a textile designer and artist and Lily was a baby boutique owner and together they created Serena and Lily, designing bedding sets and 30 orignal fabrics. They have now also moved into furniture as well.

Bright Toiles

I'm loving these bright toiles, which Manuel Canovas does so well. They take a very traditional design and make it modern and contemporary, but using WOW colour combinations. Here are a couple of images I had on file.

Working on

Currently working on a Master Bedroom Scheme. Love this embrodiered Sanderson fabric teamed with the irregular striped Romo velvet and Nina Campbell check as ascents. Still a work in progress but the Sanderson fabric is so gorgeous in all three colours, I thought it was worth sharing.

Back to it.....

Today is my first day back in the office. I dropped my sister at the airport yesterday afternoon, she is heading back to Adelaide with my niece Jessica and nephew Alex. Always great to have them visit as they are the only family not in Melbourne.

Excited to be back. The holidays have gone very fast but I have enjoyed relaxing and pottering around home. Here are some images of the display I just took out of the window. Fabulously bright french chair with a lovely Nina Campbell stripe and equally stunning Nina Campbell wallpaper with the peacocks.

Childhood memories

Late last week we were having dinner with my husbands cousin. They spend their childhood growing up together and were reminising about a board game they played when they were young, called Masterpiece.




They both talked about it with such fond memories, that I thought it was worth trying to get hold of. Good old Ebay to the rescue. Found a copy and won it, so I;m looking forward to them playing it......hope it lives up to expectations.

Canadian Interior Designer, Sarah Richardson, has a new show on Canadian TV called Sarah 101. I'm a fan of Sarahs designs and can't wait until this show comes to Foxtel (fingers crossed).
