Time for a change

Window changeover this morning, simple but letting the delightful fabric from Mokum speak. Great hand painted feel to this Chinese Willow china pattern.

Yet to work out the best way to take a photo through a window and avoid all the cars in the reflection.

Sorry for the lack of posts, the weeks have been so busy, lots of great projects and with only 4 weeks before I head off to India for my sisters 30th birthday trip, there does not seem to be enough hours in the day.....

Loving these new Manual Canovas fabrics, still to be released but I'm loving them all. Lots of collections being released this week, and a couple of functions, so I'll post details as I see them.

These french style chairs were just deilvered by the upholsterer back to the client. She called me to pop straight over and see them....amazing. Love them and love the Designers Guild fabrics.

GP Baker - latest collection

Got to see the latest offering from GP & J Baker, yesterday. Great collection - back to their classic prints. Baker use their archive prints and re-scale and re-colour and as well as the tradtional options, it makes the fabrics very NOW. Very impressed with the collections of 2013 to date...lots of colour.

Finally had a chance to change over my shop window and I must say that I'm loving this fabric drop - lots of colour.

Mary McDonald for Schumacher

Had the chance to see the Schumacher collection designed by Mary McDonald, of Million Dollar Decorators, fame, shown on Foxtel here in Australia.

Love the collection, very classic and soft colours but some dramatic elements as well. The collection blends Mary's love of Chinoiserie, color and bold patterns. Traditional textile designs are reinterpreted in a clean and graphic style and bring a strong sense of glamour.
