Light it up

Came across these images of a quirky new cafe in London called the Corner Room @ Bethnal Green Town Hall. Love the collection of industrial lights and the old circular staircase to nowhere. Getting great reviews for the food as well. I will add it to my list for my next trip to London....

Porter Paints has teamed up with Anna Spiro from Black & Spiro, for their latest designer wallpaper collaboration. Here are a couple of sneak peeks.

Images: Absolutely beautiful things

I was lucky enough to be invited by Living Edge to an advanced screening @ ACMI for the documentary Eames: the architect and the painter, this evening. I found it really enjoyable - huge fan of the eames furniture but the documentary introduced me to the photographer / film maker side to Charles and Ray Eames.

If you have a chance, see it. Screening at ACMI from the 1st to the 17th of June.

Map it out

Love this setting. Great collection of old maps in colourful frames, adds interest to this meals area.

Gaston y Daniela

I had a wonderful invitation to a luncheon on Thursday, to see the latest Gaston y Daniela collection, presented by Miguel, the charming Spanish export manager. It was great to see the new collection, called Lisboa and inspired by Lisbon. There was a wonderful lunch as highlighted by my pictured below and it was great to catch up with fellow designers in such a relaxed environment.

Exterior - before and after

Loving my new exterior colours on this job. Gone are the traditional cream, Brunswick green and Burgundy, replaced with tones of grey, white and that fuchsia front door. Still a work in progress as decorative elements and planting are still to come....
