Travers Trims

Travers have released a selection of Passementerie called Artisanal which has a fresh, distinctive look featuring ombré effects, woven textures and ikat weaves in wide braids, perfect for cushions and curtain detailing and even better, they are well priced. I love the ikat design...very now!

Beautiful Blooms

The weather has improved this week and the rose's in my front garden are loving it...the sunshine that is. Here are a couple of pic's I snapped when heading to the car this mornings.


I live this climbing rose, it's all across the front fence and has climbed into the cumquat tree as well.

I love roses and will have to pick a bunch to put inside tonight when I get home.

Lastest Window Display

Couple of quick pict's of the latest Window Display. Working with the classic, no fail Blue & White scheme, that works prefectly in our Bayside location. The fabrics are from Unique Textiles latest collection called Cermicia - taking its inspiration from classic china patterns, with fabric names like Meissen and Ceramica stripe.

Awash with colour

Driving past "The Works" this morning and had to stop and get some photo's of their latest window displays - awash with colour - from cushions, bedding, glassware and accessories, the windows are a feast for the sensors. Please excuse my reflective photos.

Lilly Pulitzer for Lee Jofa

I just saw a fab collection of fabrics from Lee Jofa - the Lilly Pulitzer Collection - great fresh bright fabrics, that make you feel happy and inspired.

Lilly Pulitzer was as fashion label started in the 1960's in Palm Beach, based on fresh fun colourful prints, worn be the likes of Jackie Kennedy. The label still continues today and they still create their own prints, working with Lee Jofa to create furnishing fabrics....in their colourful palette. Lots of fun and they being a smile to my face.....

While in Brisbane doing other things for this QLD project, I managed to find a bit of time to pop into Black & Spiro and check out the store in person for the first time. The shop is a great inspiration and I wish I had more time to wander and absorb....
