Easter (Part 2)

It was my other Easter on the weekend - Greek Easter and we got together and enjoyed the traditions - breaking the fast at 2.30am after Church with Tsoureki (Easter bread), Koulourakia (twisted biscuits) and cracking the hand dyed red eggs and feasting on roast lamb and all the trimmings.

Easter (part 1)

I had a great Easter weekend.

Drove down to Mum and Dad's on Sunday, bright and early and enjoyed an overnight stay. Weather was not good, windy, wet and cold, so it gave up the perfect excuse to sit inside with the fires going and relax. Some boardgames, reading, watching TV and plenty of eating. Have to do it all again next weekend for orthodox Easter....

Happy Easter

Wishing everyone a happy and safe Easter. Enjoy the extra long break this year and have a great time with friends and family. Its a busy one this year for me, but I'm looking forward to Easter egg hunts (apparently your never too old) and lots of fun with the nieces and nephew.
