The inspiration for the Emirates marquee @ Flemington this year was all things Irish and it looks amazing.

Cafe No 2 - initial stage discussions

Starting work on the second city cafe last week and while scoping the competion, came across this cafe. How is this for a POP of colour in the dull CBD streets.
Initial discussions on the way forward at the moment but hope to keep you post of the progress as the concept evolves.....

D'Espresso - NY

Came across this image in a "Cool Hunter" email and thought the interior of this Espresso bar was indeed cool

This coffee shop has been getting alot of media attention for its designers, the Manhattan-based nemaworkshop. They took the idea of a coffee shop that looks like a library – giving a nod to the nearby New York Public Library and turned it on its side. The walls are not lined with books but the floors and ceiling are. Except that it is all an illusion, a life-size image of books printed on custom tiles.
